Art Tosborvorn

Art Thiti Tosborvorn, Board Member and Co-President

Art is a sophomore majoring in Mathematical and Computational Science. Art enjoys playing frisbee, badminton, and squash. He also enjoys taking photos and playing music when he has time. Thai food is his favorite; the second being free food. He participated in Project Thailand 2006 and co-led Project Philippines 2007.

Lorra de la Paz

Lorra de la Paz, Board Member and Co-President

Lorra is a Filipino sophomore majoring in Economics at Stanford. She has a keen interest in development economics, studying poverty and social entrepreneurship. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys planning all types of excursions from birthday to trips to SF. In her free time she enjoys taking photos, swimming and listening to people's stories.
Lorra had an amazing experience being a member of Project Philippines 2007, which inspired her to co-lead Project Philippines 2008. She thinks PP08 is a wonderful way to give back to her country, strengthen her love for the Philippines, show others what the Philippines has to offer and lastly, inspire the Filipino youth.

Seihout Sok

Seihout Sok, Board Member and Co-Presidents' Mentor

Seihout is a Cambodian junior at Stanford University, majoring in Chemical Engineering. He co-led SEALNet Service Project Cambodia 2006, in which he returned to serve his old secondary school in Phnom Penh. In addition, he was also involved in Project Cambodia 2007 to help reviving traditional art in his country. Having grown up in Cambodia, Seihout is dedicated in inspiring Cambodia youth to take initiatives and lead their community. During his free time, Seihout plays foosball, pool, basketball and tennis.

Tu Ngo

Ngọc Tú Thuỳ Ngô, Board Member and Co-Presidents' Mentor

Originally from Vietnam, Tu Ngo, a public policy major, co-led Project Cambodia 2006 and Project Vietnam 2007. Through SEALNet and various service experiences in Vietnam, she has learned that besides passion, knowledge, leadership, and networking are all important to creating changes. With an additional interest in business and organizational management, her ambition is to utilize and modify business concepts to create efficient and sustainable social enterprises. She also loves photography, documentary films, blogging, googling, listening to stories, and spending time with her family and friends.

Mike Orgill

Mike Orgill, PI08 Co-leader

Mike is a junior at Stanford University majoring in International Relations. Mike grew up in Malaysia and has traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia. Outside of school he loves playing any kind of sport, great movies, and travel.

Eliza Wiraatmadja

Eliza Wiraatmadja, PI08 Co-leader

Eliza is a sophomore at Stanford and studying Management Science and Engineering and Math. She was born in Indonesia and has lived in Norway, Texas, Scotland, Saudi Arabia and Singapore. Eliza has an affinity for health-related service in Indonesia, which is part of the reason she wants to do PI this year. Eliza wants to learn how to play the accordion. In her spare time, Eliza sleeps.

Charmaine Peck

Charmaine Peck, PI08 Co-leader

Charmaine is a sophomore at Stanford majoring in Economics. She hails from sunny Singapore and spends copious amounts of time thinking about public service, how to make public service financially sustainable, wishing that SEAsia was closer to the USA and travelling in South America. She also loves languages and snowboarding. Mike Orgill and Eliza Wiraatmadja are two of her favorite people.

Fern Jira

Fern Jira, PT08 (Water and Sanitation) Co-leader

Fern (Chonnikarn) Jira is a senior majoring in Electrical Engineering with a secondary major in Mathematical and Computational Science. Fern is currently enjoying her senior spring at Stanford University, and is looking forward to a nice long summer vacation at home in Bangkok, Thailand. In her spare time, Fern enjoys playing the piano, reading, cooking and watching movies.

Potay Parapiboon

Potay Parapiboon (ศุภัชญา พาราพิบุลย์), PT08 (Water and Sanitation) Co-leader

Potay Parapiboon is a senior at Stanford University, majoring in Economics and minoring in Math. Potay was born and grew up in Bangkok, Thailand. She also spent a year in Connecticut before coming to Stanford. Besides volunteer work, she enjoys playing the piano, painting, swimming and playing any racket/paddle sports.

Mod Lueprasitsakul, PT08

Mod Lueprasitsakul is a sophomore studying Economics at Stanford University. He was born and grew up in Thailand for 18 years before receiving a scholarship to study in the US. In free time, he likes to read and find good restaurants. He was involved in PT06 before this project.

Andrew Plan

Andrew Plan, PP08 Co-leader

Andrew Plan is a sophomore at Stanford University, majoring in Human Biology and minoring in Music, Science, and Technology. He is a newcomer to SEALNet, joining after being inspired by the extraordinary people he met in the organization and their unifying passion for Southeast Asia. A Filipino-American born and raised in Texas, Andrew is also an aspiring musician, writing guitar-driven songs and performing across campus. Nui Suebphanwong, PP08

Waritta Suebphanwong (Nui) is a freshmen at Stanford University. She is still undecided on her major, but looking at either economics or international relations. Nui grew up in Bangkok, Thailand and spent a year at Phillips Academy at Andover prior to coming to Stanford. She enjoys playing squash, watching movies, playing the piano, and traveling.

Job Kittiprapha Jivasantikarn, PT08 (Working with AIDS Patients) Co-leader

Job Kittiprapha Jivasantikarn is a freshman at Stanford University. She's co-leading the SEALNet project Thailand 2008 with Ping Punyakumpol. She enjoys playing the piano, listening to old songs and playing tennis. Job grew up in Thailand and came to the U.S. in 2006. She spent a year at Cate School in Santa Barbara area before coming to Stanford. Her potential major is economics.

Ping Punyakumpol

Ping Punyakumpol, PT08 (Working with AIDS Patients) Co-leader

Chanya Punyakumpol (Ping) is a freshman at Stanford University. She enjoys swimming, playing tennis and squash in her free time. Before coming to Stanford, she spent 18 years in Bangkok Thailand, where she was born. She also spent a year at Exeter, NH as a senior in Phillips Exeter Academy. Ping is currently undecided about her major. However, her potential majors are between Economics and MCS (Mathematical and Computational Science).

Natth Bejraburnin

Natth Bejraburnin (ณัฐ เพชระบูรณิน), PT08 (Working with AIDS Patients)

Natth is a junior currently double-majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science. He is originally from Thailand and has come to the other end of the world to study at Stanford University. He perhaps has some sort of passion for Mathematics and wishes to be a "mathemagician."

In his free time at Stanford, he has to do homework, study for classes and coding programs while he has committed to trying to find another time for sports like squash, tennis, and badminton.

Kai Qiu

Kai Qiu, PM08 Co-leader

Kai Qiu is a Chinese sophomore studying Biological Engineering and Management Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He participated in Project Vietnam 2007, after which he helped establish SEALNet's MIT Chapter and lead its first venture, Project Malaysia 2008. Kai plans to eventually apply his abilities towards developmental work in Africa or western China. In his free time, Kai likes to read international literatures, go mountain biking, or practice Taekwondo.

Vy Huynh

Vy Huynh, PV08 Co-leader

Vy is currently doing her first year in LSE (London School of Economics and Political Science) in London, majoring in Economics. She was brought up in the countryside of Southwest Vietnam and went to Ho Chi Minh City for studies when she was 12 before she went to the UK to do her A-level. She loves reading, random conversation, meeting people and traveling. Inspired by her friends, she decided to take up the challenge and join SEALNet as a new-comer. She has met and made friends with a bunch of awesome people during SEALNet retreat, which is a great source of motivation for her.

Nhung Nguyen

Nhung Nguyen, PV08 Co-leader

Originally from Ho Chi Minh City - Vietnam, Nhung (pronounced 'Ni-ung'), an International Economics major, is now at her second year, La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. She has a keen interest in Health Economics and Social Enterpreneurship. Her source of inspiration is people, ranging from kids on skateboard to the girl sitting in front of her in lectures. Nhung loves companionship, being outdoors, singing shamelessly to her friends, and meeting warm strangers. Fostered by her PV07 experience last summer, Nhung joins PV08 as she believes in creating sustainable development for PV's partners, including 15 May school.

Jiun Haur Wang (王均豪)

Jiun Haur is a senior at Stanford University, majoring in both Physics and Economics. He has been on PV05, PT06, and helped to mentor PT07. His current SEALNet duties include mass spamming and chauffeuring services. In his spare time, he loves to play basketball and watch movies.

Munika Lay

Munika Lay is a junior at Stanford University majoring in Communication with a minor in International Relations. A Cambodian-American born in Long Beach, California, she participated in Project Cambodia 2006. Her passions include movies, books, scrapbooking, writing, and dance.

Daniel Greer

Daniel Clayton Greer, Finance 

Daniel is currently a senior majoring in International Relations and minoring in Environmental Engineering. He is a fifth generation Colorado native and grew up in a rural area of Colorado. During Project Cambodia 2006, Daniel was excited to experience a different culture and make close, lasting bonds. Initially attracted to SEALNet due to his grandfather's Navy service in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and elsewhere, he has now made SEALNet a part of his life. Daniel helped lead Project Vietnam 2007 and participated in Project Malaysia 2008. During a one year leave of absence, he spent the second half of 2007 in Ho Chi Minh City before moving to Singapore in January 2008. He also took a one quarter detour to study in Paris, before returning in January 2009 to Stanford. Daniel enjoys running, talking, reading, and watching people grow in this special community.

Yongfeng Ye

Yong Feng Ye (叶永丰), PI07 Co-leader

Ye Yongfeng is currently a Singaporean senior from Stanford University. He is an Economics major with a strong interest in global history. In his free time, he likes to snowboard, practice Judo and drink good coffee. Project Indonesia 2007 was a great learning experience for him and he would like to share these experiences with future project leaders and members!

Dian Rosanti

Dian Andamari Rosanti Tjandrawinata, PI07 Co-leader

Dian is a junior at Stanford University, studying in the Symbolic Systems Program. She was born and raised in Indonesia, and despite her serious lack of free time, is doing all she can to give back to the community. She is an aspiring DJ and listens to a ridiculous amount of electronica, in particular trance and electro house.

Dian Rosanti

Kornpong (Top) Pongmorakot, PT07 Co-leader

Kornpong (Top) is a sophomore majoring in Chemical Engineering at Stanford. He earned a scholarship from Thailand to study abroad, and fell in love with the weather of California. After a year of exploration he was really impressed and inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit in social service of SEALNet, and co-led SEALNet project Thailand 2007. Personally, he is very interested in eastern philosophy and history. He loves to play the guitar, listen to music, and try new tasty food. He loves food from all countries, especially Japanese and Thai food.

Clarissa Lin

Clarissa Lin, PV07 Co-leader

Clarissa is a junior from Singapore with a masters in Management Science & Engineering, a major in Economics and a minor in Psychology. After participating in PT06, Clarissa was inspired to return to co-lead PV07 and mentor PM08. She loves snowboarding, music, dance, Cirque du Soleil shows and Broadway musicals.

Misha is a junior at Stanford University, majoring in Biological Sciences. A Vietnamese-American born in Vietnam, she is interested in learning more about her homeland and about health-related issues the Vietnamese community faces. Ryan Torres

Gil Adrian 'Ryan' Torres, PP07 Co-leader

Ryan is a junior currently studying Electrical Engineering. He has enjoyed growing up in a mix of worlds, spending his pre-college years in the Philippines and Thailand. Ryan enjoys traveling through Southeast Asia, eating Thai/Filipino delicacies, playing tennis, and hitting golf balls in his spare time. He participated in Project Thailand 2007, co-lead the PP07 project where he returned to the Philippines to inspire the youth.

Zoe Ng

Zoë Ng

Zoë was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, moved to the U.K. for education and is now based in Bath, England. She is a senior student at the University of Edinburgh pursuing a double major Linguistics and Arabic MA. Having just finished a year at the University of California, Berkeley on exchange, she has a passion for non-profit consulting and South East Asia. After graduating she hopes to enter a career in management consulting and eventually international development, focusing on educational issues.

She was a member of Project Cambodia 06 and helped to plan PC07 whilst completing an internship in Singapore.

Dian Rosanti

Trent Walker, PC07 Co-leader

Trent is a senior at Stanford majoring in Religious Studies. He has co-led the annual SEALNet Leadership Institute Winter Retreat for the past three years and co-led PC07. Trent is currently completing his honors thesis on Khmer and Pali Buddhist songs. His other interests include traditional Southeast Asian music, meditation and trees.

Pichdararith Yoeun is currently a Cambodian sophomore at Stanford University, thinking of majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering. With his strong interest in his own culture, he worked to improve the awareness of Cambodian art through the youth community in his country by co-leading PC07. His other interests include reading, star-gazing and spending time with his family and friends.

Mac Sriyanong

Mac Sriyanong, PT07 Co-leader

Mac is currently a sophomore at Stanford majoring in Energy Resources Engineering, and probably doing a co-term in the same department. He co-led Project Thailand 2007. He really appreciates the memorable experiences he gained and the interpersonal bonds he created during the project. He was first exposed to SEALNet when he joined Project Thailand 2006 as a team member. Mac has lived in Thailand for all his life and loves almost everything that comes from his motherland. He is interested in renewable energy and environmentalism. He enjoys playing the piano, playing squash, watching old movies, and social dancing. Reading random articles from Wikipedia is his favorite procrastinating hobby.
