Food Safety and Organic Farming
Project Vietnam 2020 aims to promote organic farming to ethnic youths in Ma Danh Village using the two foundational pillars of SEALNet which are leadership and service component. For the leadership component, PV20LD will create a platform for Southeast Asian youth, specially the project mentees, to develop leadership skills and acquire knowledge about food safety and organic farming. Mentees will then be able to facilitate activities to empower ethnic youths in Ma Danh village while hosting a series of talks on
a) health awareness-raising
b) stepping out of the comfort zones and
c) trash categorizing/composting workshops
– to help instill an organic mindset and value of being a farmer within the beneficiaries.
